Montgomery County Coalition for Care at the End of Life functions as an education and advocacy organization and does not provide direct services. Membership is open to anyone interested in end of life issues.
To help residents of Montgomery County understand end-of-life options and available resources, and learn how to communicate their choices to family and healthcare provider before a crisis or serious illness occurs.
Goal: To increase awareness of EOL issues in Montgomery County.
Goal: To increase healthcare and social service providers' understand of EOL issues and inclination to make EOL recommendations.
Goal: To provide information to the community at large about advance directives and palliative care.
Goal: To expand use of EOL services by underserved populations.
Goal: To maximize the effectiveness ( increase attendance, decrease duplication of effort) of EOL education efforts in the county.
Goal: To enhance the public's ability to hear EOL messages.
